Back in Business

I guess this is up again now. I had a dream last night that I checked the status page, and it said something about how they were working on sounds (because apparently, in dream logic, the central computers affected the sound on all livejournal users' computers), and I was mad because I didn't even USE sounds on my journal, so I thought they shouldn't waste their time with that. It's pretty pathetic that I had a dream about LJ, isn't it?

I need to renew my memberships to the American Library Association and International Wizard of Oz Club pretty soon. I really should read the back issues of the publications for both of these organizations. Oh, well.

I think I actually had a dream about posting to LJ a couple nights ago, actually. I don't think it was terribly interesting though, just more of the "Man, I can't wait to post about this!" thing or something.

but of course, yesterday, I had a dream about being in a Billy Wilder movie being shot in Canada with Jack Lemmon and Audrey Tautou, so I don't know.

I was only a IWOC member for a year (in 2000, or 2001... there was an Eloise McGraw memorial issue... anyway). I've always wanted to rejoin, but some how I've never managed to get things together and do it. Maybe it's the cost that always discourages me whenever I think to do it, and it ends up being more than I think. I just wish one of the club conventions was actually near me. Anyway... here ends the pointless comment.

Yeah, $25 is a bit steep. It was only $15 when I first joined. I think there was only one year when I didn't subscribe, though, even after they raised the price.
