I replied to that on Twitter since John Francis Daley (ie the fictional Sam Weir) had JUST BEEN RETWEETED RIGHT ABOVE IT, but I'll go into detail-- yeah, they're not huge movie stars like Franco and Rogan and Segel, but they're out there-- according to fictional-Sam-Weir's twitter bio, he's on Bones now. I read a great interview with Martin Starr (Bill) a few months back-- he pops up lots of places, but, you know, none of those characters looks quite like Bill so he's hard to pick out. Samm Levine (Neil) I think MAY have left show business, which is ironic considering the character. OH, I know Linda "Lindsay" Cardellini's had steady-work-without-stardom, too. And Busy Phillips (Kim) is on Cougartown. I'm going to see if I can find that interview with Martin Starr before I post this... Wow, a few months, I guess it was a whole YEAR ago. Nearly.
Martin Starr has been in several movies I've seen - Adventureland, Knocked Up, and I think he was on that show Party Down too? For a while John francis Daly was on some show too (something about lawyers maybe?) But yeah, their careers haven't exploded the way Segel's and Franco's and Rogen's have.
