An end-of-the-year survey
Dec. 16th, 2004 08:40 pmYeah, I know I've been making a lot of posts today, but I saw this survey on
countblastula's journal, and thought I might as well fill it out.
What are your three (3) favorite songs of 2004:
1)Museum Of Idiots - They Might Be Giants (although I actually first heard that one in 2000
2)Militia Song - Camper Van Beethoven
3)I Don't Believe You - Magnetic Fields
(I don't know that these were necessarily my favorites, but they were standouts from what were probably my three favorite albums of the year, so why not?)
What are your favorite movies of 2004:
1)Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
2)Spider-Man 2
3)Fahrenheit 9/11
(I don't watch very many movies in theaters. The only other two I can remember seeing were Napoleon Dynamite and Exorcist: The Beginning, neither of which would fit into the "favorites" category.
Favorite restaurant you dined at in 2004:
1)Probably the Olive Garden, but my favorite restaurant I hadn't been to before was Iliano's, where I went for my birthday. My LEAST favorite restaurant that I first went to in 2004 is the Phily Diner.
Favorite city visited in 2004:
1)I guess I'd have to say New York. I didn't travel much, and it certainly beats Philadelphia.
Did you get in any physical fights in 2004? Explain:
A)No, I didn't.
Favorite new person you met in 2004:
A)If we're talking about meeting people in person, it was cool seeing
onib and
floatyfish after the TLA TMBG show.
Worst injury sustained in 2004:
A)I can't even remember.
Biggest party day of 2004 you participated in:
A)I'm not really down with the party scene.
Most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2004:
A)Eh, everything I do is embarrassing. Knocking over the Christmas tree at work probably ranks somewhere up there. (There was no real damage, in case you were wondering.)
Most memorable event of 2004:
A)I'll probably remember that stupid election for some time.
What is your favorite music CD obtained in 2004:
A)I'm going to go for the lame, predictable answer, and say The Spine.
Longest distance traveled in 2004:
A)That will be when I go to Virginia, which hasn't happened yet.
Predict the biggest event to occur in the year 2005:
At the rate we're going, probably another war, but I'm hoping I'm a lousy prognosticator.
And I'm not predicting any deaths, so that's it for this entry.
