The newest Futurama episode was pretty clever. In previous episodes, they'd touched on how human-robot relationships were forbidden in the Futurama world, so perhaps an episode comparing that to the modern struggle to legalize gay marriage was overdue. I appreciate that we had a good dose of Lionel Preacherbot, and his reprogramming camp was a funny sequence. And I'd pretty much forgotten about that stupid "gathering storm" commercial before seeing the spoof of it. I was a little worried that they'd mess up with the status quo with Amy leaving Kif, but they managed to resolve it quickly while still remaining true to the characters. Also, there were a lot of great sight gags and one-liners: the prisoner's animated tattoo, the Professor's jarred weather and the subsequent tornado-capturing scene, the sad wine-dispensing robot, the ghost married to the horse, etc. Some nice callbacks, too, with the return of Roberto, Fatbot, the transsexual robot, and Wailing Fungus.
