The newest Futurama episode was pretty clever. In previous episodes, they'd touched on how human-robot relationships were forbidden in the Futurama world, so perhaps an episode comparing that to the modern struggle to legalize gay marriage was overdue. I appreciate that we had a good dose of Lionel Preacherbot, and his reprogramming camp was a funny sequence. And I'd pretty much forgotten about that stupid "gathering storm" commercial before seeing the spoof of it. I was a little worried that they'd mess up with the status quo with Amy leaving Kif, but they managed to resolve it quickly while still remaining true to the characters. Also, there were a lot of great sight gags and one-liners: the prisoner's animated tattoo, the Professor's jarred weather and the subsequent tornado-capturing scene, the sad wine-dispensing robot, the ghost married to the horse, etc. Some nice callbacks, too, with the return of Roberto, Fatbot, the transsexual robot, and Wailing Fungus.

Damn. I missed seeing it again. Do you know when they do reruns of the new episodes? I only manage to catch the old, pre-Comedy Central episodes.

I know they run the previous week's at 9:30 Thursday. I think they also run them on Mondays at like, midnight?

.....or, you could do what I did last week when I missed it, and just torrent it up...8)

Thanks! I'm guessing you gave the EST schedule? Because I'm in the CT zone, which may be a little different.

Ah...torrents. I think it's funny that the last episode I saw recently had "Now on Illegal DVD!" as the Easter Egg text on the title screen.

Ah yeah, that's EST/PST. So, probably 8.30/9P then?

Yeah, CST is one hour behind EST but shows come on at the same time in real time. Unlike PST, which I believe has a 9:30 show at 12:30AM/11:30PM EST/CST. So people in California can get spoilers from those of us in the Midwest and East Coast! Must make it easy to bet on game shows and reality TV.
