Jan. 28th, 2010 12:17 am- 16:12 This Shonen Knife album that I bought for $3 is pretty cool so far. #
- 16:18 Time for my cardiologist's appointment. I really shouldn't need to see one at my age. #
- 21:10 My cartoon animal version of American Idol features Simon Cow, Randy Jackal, and Ryan Seabass. #
- 21:17 @DVDBoxSet Was that from the unpublished sequel to Dr. Seuss's "On Beyond Zebra." #
- 21:18 Unfortunately, I think our country might already have a government that matches our decency. And that's not a good thing. #
- 22:08 Take a drink eve
ry time Obama says, "Make no mistake." # - 22:11 I think the Republicans in Congress are modeling themselves on those credit card ads with David Spade. "The answer is always no." #

Date: 2010-01-30 03:32 am (UTC)I also saw that! SK is awesome. I'd avoid their most recent, "Genki Electric Shock" though -- it really seems kinda phoned in.
Ones I like best:
* Strawberry Sound
* Happy Hour
* 712
* Brand New Knife
* Rock Animals
Probably in that order, actually. So like, that's what I'd recommend goin' after first. But really, pretty much alla 'em are pretty dang good. (IIRC, "Heavy Songs" is another one that's a little on the phoned-in side, but has its moments.)
