Terrorism and lowering taxes are two totally different issues; I've never heard anyone put them together like that. I might add that I know some people who went conservative on national defense after 9/11, but remained socially to the left.

Fair point, but it seems like people like Dennis Miller became full-on conservative rather than just conservative on terrorism.

Maybe some do, but I listen to Miller a lot so I can testify he hasn't. He's the only one of all the talk radio people who I listen to regularly, because he rarely gets argumentative or loses his temper, treats people fairly even when he disagrees with them, and is way more moderate than any other commentator I've ever heard on either side of the political aisle. So ... I guess that makes me a fan. Actually, the biggest reason I'm a fan is because he's maintained his sense of humor, which is sadly lacking in most others.
