I'll be interested to read what you think of my fair almost-home city of Portland. My last friend who went there told me he could never live there because it was full of "lazy, liberal hippies who wanted handouts". You'll have to let me know if these good for nothings (who probably want free healthcare, the rats) are still running about.

Yeah, there are still a lot of liberal hippies who want handouts here, but I don't mind that. {g} I also noticed a fair number of homeless people muttering to themselves. I have to say I like what I've seen of Portland, though. It seems more laid back than East Coast cities.
