Have you had trouble sleeping lately?
Sep. 2nd, 2004 04:35 pmI've been having some trouble sleeping as of late. Actually, I slept pretty well last night, albeit only for about eight hours before I woke up with a sore throat. I think I might have a little bit of a cold. Hopefully it won't get any worse.
I wish people would stop parking in non-spaces. Designated spaces in parking lots aren't just to keep the parking attendants in business. Inventing your own space often means you'll get in the way of people trying to drive their cars through the lot. Thank you. This has been a public service announcement.
Has anyone else noticed how Ovaltine commercials just don't look, sound, or feel like other commercials? It's like they made them a few decades ago and are still showing them today. Hey, maybe that's what they're actually doing. For that matter, does anyone actually buy Ovaltine anymore?
Today is the day of an open house and scavenger hunt at work. That should be fun! Or something like that, anyway. I've already had to have my picture taken a few times.
Tomorrow, I have to get my car serviced, and then I have a phone interview.

Date: 2004-09-02 05:40 pm (UTC)As for Ovaltine, I assume you're talking about the TV commercials since those sort of have that USA-Network-Syndicated-Sitcom-Probably-From-Canada-Circa-1988 sort of feel to them. Although, their radio commercials are really weird as well. And some of them, like the Radio Ovaltine spots are really goddamn awful. It's a bunch of kids singing horribly about Ovaltine. And then the kid who is the "dj" goes "that's all fah radio ovaltine... LAATTEEEER!!!!" in about the most irritating voice in the world and you're all SOMEDAY YOU WILL PAY FOR YOUR SINS AGAINST THE LISTENING PUBLIC.
