Unintentional runs like these are suddenly what makes reading Twitter digests fun.

The problem with taxing the very rich is that they're usually the ones that pay the rest of us, and because they're all selfish jerks, when they get taxed more, instead of just taking it, they rearrange the money flow so that they're still getting the same amount of income but their poor employees don't get their bonuses or raises or DO get laid off. Seriously, this is why I hate economic politics, because both sides have good points. I totally would like to tax the crap out of the rich, but I also know that they're not going to be nice about it.

Yeah, that's true. I guess what they really need to do is come up with ways to eliminate the more common loopholes.
