Having given this a lot of thought when I was younger, I eventually came to see it as "This song's just six words long." Then it makes slightly more sense.

I think the whole rental philosophy is the reason why some auto rental places charge you for not filling up the tank after you're done using the car. Though I'm still confused why the age for renting a car is 25 and not 18 or 21.

I usually end up returning rental cars with much more gas than they originally had. The first time I had to rent a car (which was actually not long after I'd turned 25), I think it only came with about half a tank of gas.

I'm also confused about the ages. What, if you're under 25 and get into a car accident, you're just screwed?

Ans as for the whole rental philosophy, I guess I was raised to think I had to take BETTER care of other people's stuff than my own. Especially if I had to pay for it if something went wrong!
