Eh, I didn't think much of last night's Simpsons episode. The premise was actually pretty interesting, but nothing really came of it. The crazy school inspector was kind of funny, but that's pretty much it. Not to mention that I found the timeline kind of confusing, since they seemed to be cutting back and forth to storylines that weren't even taking place at the same time of day, as far as I could tell. It's hardly the first episode to do this, but it struck me as particularly confusing this time. Family Guy wasn't that great either, although I did think the live-action clips were a nice touch. I did enjoy American Dad, and appreciated that it gave more background for Roger, but I can't help feeling sorry for the guy.

All right, that's all for now, and I have to get going soon anyway. In the works for tonight is a post about Kaliko.

Yeah -- last night's Simpsons blew. It was... urgh. A couple funny jokes, but most of it was just stupid. I'm not sure what to think of the No Country For Old Men thing, just because it was basically out of nowhere -- and just like "Hey, here's a movie you recognize! That's funny, right?"

And, yeah -- do they even have school inspectors like that? I mean, dang, but that just seemed contrived and stupid. "Oh, we need to have some sort of conflict here! Let's make some crap up!"

Family Guy wasn't bad, though. I enjoyed it. And American Dad actually WAS pretty awesome. I am kinda amused that Toji's mom apparently speaks perfect English, which is... odd, considering he doesn't.

And I actually haven't seen that movie yet, so I DIDN'T recognize it. {g}

I guess it's possible, since the government has inspectors who can come to your home for other things, although I'm sure they're not allowed to break in. :P

Yet he seems to UNDERSTAND English quite well; he just can't speak it himself.
