Apr. 4th, 2009 12:04 am- 19:42 Hey, anyone remember Winsock? I think that went out with Telnet. #
- 19:42 On my way home today, I saw a mailbox shaped like a golf ball. #
- 19:42 I also saw a rainbow, which was much cooler, but nowhere near as kitschy. #
- 19:47 @mattkoff Just as disappointing as everything else in his life, I would imagine. #
- 19:50 @sapsorrow We can be cold as the falling thermometer in December if you ask about the weather in July. #
- 20:35 I love when churches identify themselves as "Bible-based." As opposed to what, Christian churches based on the Quran or Bhagavad-Gita? #
- 20:46 Also kind of amusing is "Church of Christ," although I guess they don't want anyone getting it confused with the Church of Satan. #
- 21:07 @NowIsStrange is my sweet apple. #

Date: 2009-04-04 04:52 pm (UTC)I have always been amused by churches called "Church of Christ," though not nearly so much as by the ones called "Church of God." I've also seen one called "Church of God in Christ," because I suppose they figured they had to differentiate further somehow.
