So, let's see. I guess I should review last night's cartoons, since there's no point in breaking the trend now. I don't really have that much to say, though. The Simpsons episode was based on a trite premise, and played out in a rather predictable manner, but I liked that it was rather self-conscious about it. Family Guy was pretty good, and had a fair number of well-done jokes, especially the one with the singers from Little Shop of Horrors explaining what happened to Mort. American Dad wasn't one of the better recent episodes, but it was worth watching if only for the montage of Stan and Bullock at the different clubs.

In other news, the temperature seems to have dropped pretty abruptly in this area. There were days last week when I could wear short sleeves outside, and now I have to wear a jacket and scrape frost off my car. Whatever happened to gradual changes?

You know, I really do have a very tender spot in my heart for Little Shop of Horrors. It really is one of my favorite musicals. I guess that makes me a gigantic nerd.

I mean, just...! How can you not love it.

squee! ^___^

I was kinda disappointed Sunday; the Simpsons and Family Guy, I both thought were a little weak. (Simpsons more so, though. But I did like the Adult-Bart/Milhouse-Lady joke. That would have been more interesting I think than the Prince And The Pauper thing. And it would have been amusing to set up a clear Prince & Pauper deal and then go "No, wait, that's hackneyed." But oh well. And, I don't know. Of the Road To episodes (which I usually love), that one was the weakest. I think, oddly enough, the time-travel thing was a little silly. Like, the other Roads at least seem marginally buyable, y'know? Because I DEMAND possible reality in my Family Guy episodes.

Yeah, that was one of the better jokes in that episode.

I kind of thought the same thing, actually, which is a little weird because FG stretches reality constantly. It's just that it's usually just for the sake of an isolated joke, while the actual episode plots are at least slightly plausible. Stewie did have a time machine in one of the earliest episodes, but it was a minor plot device then.

I walked away and took a shower during Family Guy ... I was bored with it about ten minutes in.
