I wish I could get a new computer. Things just keep going wrong with this one. Not only do I really not have the money for a computer, though, but I don't want to invest in a whole new computer so soon after paying for a new hard drive for this one. I also have to wonder whether a new computer would really work any better than this one. I doubt it could be much worse, really.

As for that Minus Five CD I said I might talk about, I've listened to it, and only a few songs have really jumped out at me. "Popsycle Shoppe" was my immediate favorite. It's really cool, and seems to have a bit of an old-fashioned, nostalgic sound to it. "Moonshine Girl" is a fun song with a catchy, bouncy guitar part. "The Rest Of The World" and "Wouldn't Want To Care" are pretty good songs, too. I don't think that much of "Bullfight," but maybe it'll grow on me.

Now I just need to get a copy of My Chartreuse Opinion.

I just got that one not too long ago. I dug it pretty well, but from what I recall, it's a little backloaded. But yeah, "Popcycle Shoppe" rules.

PopLlama has Chartruese on vinyl (and maybe tape?) but the CD has bonus tracks. I've also been seeing copies of Old Liquidator around, but it's always the ESD version which is sans the like 5 bonus cuts, so I'm waiting for the Hollywood Records issue.

I'd definitely prefer to get the CD of My Chartreuse Opinion, if possible. As for Old Liquidator, I recently bought a copy on eBay, but I don't know what version it is, and I can't check right now. If I knew what the bonus tracks were, though, I could probably remember whether or not they were there.

That's kinda what I'd figure; I've got the LP, but I haven't listened yet. It's got different cover art, though, which is neat. But the CD's harder to find.

Anyway, the OL bonus tracks are:
13. House of The Doors (Theme) [*]
14. Brotherhood of Pain [*]
15. Heartache for Sale [*]
16. Drunkard's Lullaby [*]
17. House of Four Doors (End Theme) [*]

(couple of those are on the Emperor of the Bathroom and/or Hello EP, I think.)

Okay, those tracks aren't on the CD I have, although "Heartache For Sale" is indeed on the Emperor of the Bathroom EP, which I do have. I don't have the Hello disc, and I wish I did. There are actually several Hello CDs I wouldn't mind having, but I don't think there's any way to buy those anymore.

same... The Hello club was all In The House And In Effect when I was a really poor high school student, who couldn't afford to spend 165 dollars on a bunch of EPs. And now that I all have a job and am out of highschool/college, I can't get them. RRR. At least I've got boots of some of the ones I care about, like the Andy Partridge one, or all of the TMBG-related ones.
