vovat1. I had a dream last night where I had a roommate (in addition to Dorothea) who was a mother of two young children. Either that, or this mother of two young children WAS Dorothea. Also in the dream, I was watching some crappy musical on tape (or possibly DVD), and I couldn't get it to pause properly. (Technology not working correctly is a theme that comes up quite often in my dreams.) In another recent dream that's probably worth mentioning, I was lost in Philadelphia (or some city, anyway), and came across a neighborhood where a lot of houses had signs outside advertising that they belonged to prostitutes.
2. Final Fantasy III is now out for the DS (which I don't have), and FF5 is out on the Game Boy Advance (which I do). I guess it goes without saying that I want to play both of them. My brother used to have an emulated copy of FF5, but he said the translation patch got crappy toward the end. Or something like that, anyway. I forget exactly what the problem was. Regardless, I've never played it before, and I'd like to. They really need to release the fifth and sixth Dragon Quest/Warrior games here in the States, too.
3. I was at Wal-Mart today, and I saw a poster advertising the DVD release of An Inconvenient Truth. I'm kind of surprised that they're selling it there. That reminds me that I need to add that to my Netflix queue, if I haven't already. Okay, there we go.

bethje gave me the last of my birthday presents, which turned out to be a copy of Impeach Bush!, the graphic novel by eagledna and mikeleffel. I'd been wanting that, and supporting local artists is often a good idea. ("Local" on the Internet, that is, not in terms of actual physical geography.)
