Having now seen Bill O'Reilly's latest appearance on Letterman, I have to say that Dave's "It's not a simple question for me, because I'm thoughtful" is pretty much the ultimate response to a great many of Bill's questions.

I was going to say more, but I've gone off on O'Reilly many times before, so I'm going to keep it pithy. {g} I will say that I actually want to read Culture Warrior. Just not in public. {g}

In yet another crazy dream, my dad had paid for me to fly to the Southwest, and I was going through security at the airport. They told me that new security regulations said I couldn't bring my car keys on the flight, and that they'd mail them back to my home. When I asked how I'd be able to drive my car back home, they didn't have an answer. I ended up asking for my luggage back and leaving the airport, although I kind of felt bad about it, since my dad had already paid.

I got this survey from [livejournal.com profile] unclemilo.

1. Explain what ended your last relationship?
I didn't have one.

2. When was the last time you shaved your legs?
Never

3. What were you doing this morning at 12 am?
Seeing the Dresden Dolls

4. What were you doing 30 minutes ago?
Using the computer, I think.

5. Are you any good at math?
Yeah, I'm pretty good. I always did well at algebra, but not so well as geometry or calculus.

6. Your prom night?
I don't remember what I was doing, but it definitely didn't involve going to the prom. There was never even a remote possibility that it would.

7. Do you have any famous ancestors?
Not as far as I know

8. Have you ever taken out a loan?
Only if charging things counts

9. Do you know all the words to your Myspace song?
No, I don't know all the words to any New Pornographers songs, which is kind of odd, as I'm usually quite lyrically oriented.

10. Last thing received in the mail?
A payroll stub from the IRS. Also an IUP magazine, which I threw away without reading.

11. How many different beverages have you drank today?
Just orange juice

12. Do you ever leave messages on people's answering machines?
Yeah. In fact, I often prefer to communicate that way. It's less stressful than actually talking to people.

13. Who did you lose your CONCERT virginity to?
I guess I'd say that my first "real" concert (as opposed to free ones in the park and such) was Weird Al in May 1996, at the now no-longer-existing Valley Forge Music Fair.

14. Do you draw your name in the sand when you go to the beach?
I probably have at some point, but not recently.

15. What's the most painful dental procedure you've ever had?
Well, I got my wisdom teeth taken out, but they knocked me out for that, so it wasn't actually painful. Maybe having cavities filled?

16. What is out your back door?
Why don't you ask John Fogerty?

17. Are you in a relationship?
Yes.

18. Do you like the ocean?
It has its place.

19. Have you ever received one of those big tins of 3 different kinds of popcorn?
No. I'm not really a big fan of popcorn.

20. Have you ever been to a planetarium?
Yes.

21. Something you are excited about?
I guess the Decemberists concert on Wednesday is exciting, although it means I'm going to get very little sleep that night.

22. What is your favorite flavor of JELLO?
I don't know. Lime, maybe?

23. Are any of your great-grandparents still alive?
No, my great-grandmother died about three years ago. She was almost 100 years old.

24. Where do you keep your change?
In my pocket, generally.

25. When was the last time you spoke in front of a large group of people ?
I guess the last time I gave a tour of the library, as part of my reference job. That was a while ago, though.

26. What kind of winter coat do you have?
A black leather one.

27. What was the weather like on your graduation?
It was sunny during both my high school and college graduations.

28. Do you sleep with the door to your room open or closed?
Closed, usually.

29. Are you thinking about someone right now?
Yeah, Father Time.

30. there is no 30..
Then why not just end with #29?

I took that survey once, except when I took it you were supposed to only answer the questions with an Exactly Two-Word Answer, which was tricky. Apparently, somebody along the line has cheated. They suck. ... I can't remember how many questions it had at that point.

Or maybe my version is CLOSER to the original, and someone along the way changed it to a two-word answer survey. Hey, it's possible, right? {g}
