Hmm, there are a few LJ posts on my friends list where, after I've clicked on the cut-text and gone into the actual body of the post, I'm unable to copy and paste text. This seems to only be the case in Internet Explorer, though. I tried loading one of the problem posts in Firefox, and the copy-paste function worked just fine there. I wonder what the issue is here.

The past few days have been somewhat complicated, but not much worth writing about has actually been going on. [livejournal.com profile] bethje and I did watch two movies, though. One was The Terminal, which had some plot holes big enough to, well, fly a passenger jet through. Still, it was watchable, and I did get used to Tom Hanks playing a foreigner more quickly than I thought I would. The other movie was On the Waterfront, which was a pretty good film, but I had trouble staying awake through it. Beth said the same thing happened to her when she watched it in class, but she was able to pay more attention to it the second time around. Maybe I'll watch it again in a few months or so.

If you're using the new "Horizon" site scheme, the inability to highlight words is a known issue. I think this is only on the blue-and-white Horizon pages, not on those with custom styles. I actually hadn't noticed this was a problem for me until you mentioned it—I must not be doing much highlighting recently.

Thanks for pointing that out. It seems to work just fine in Firefox, though, so I might just keep using that instead of IE.

huh, yeah... that's what's going on. I just noticed it just now myself.
