This way to the dorms
Sep. 6th, 2006 05:34 pmIn a dream I had last night, I was back at my old college dorm building for some reunion or something. I believe
rockinlibrarian was also there, and I was wondering if
arfies (who really does live in that dorm now) was in the building. It mostly looked like that hall really did when I lived there, except the basement was bigger, and the machines in the exercise room had been replaced with weird stuff that I didn't recognize. I remember thinking it felt weird to be back there, which I'm sure it really would be if I were to ever visit there again. I have a lot of memories of that place. The thing is, there really WAS an Honors College reunion, but I don't know whether anyone I knew actually attended, nor do I know whether attendees were allowed into the dorm.
Gas prices have dropped a considerable amount, at least in my area. I'm sure they're just preparing to raise them to ridiculous amounts again when they have another hurricane to blame.
By the way, thanks to everyone who suggested FTP servers. I'll probably check them out when I have the time.
