Apparently the power had been out at my mom's house for a few days, due to a storm knocking trees over. Fortunately, it was back on when I got there last night. I had forgotten to bring a shirt with me for today, so I ended up buying one from Kmart this morning. I don't really think wearing the same shirt two days in a row is such a big deal, but I try to avoid it when I'm going to be going to the same place and seeing the same people. I also bought some socks and printer ink while I was there.
And here's a survey, from
rockinlibrarian:
1. If you were granted the true answer to any one question in the universe what would you ask?
I already know that the answer is 42. I just need to know the question.
2. Among every man (or woman if applicable) you have dated, what characteristic do most of them share?
I've only ever dated one person, so I would imagine she shares just about every characteristic with herself.
3. What five words do you think your mate would first use to describe you?
Well, nowadays, one of them would probably be "bro."
4. If you could be the best at anything in the world, what would it be?
I'm not sure whether to take the selfish or unselfish route with this one. Finding peaceful and mutually agreeable solutions to world conflicts, perhaps? Not that anyone would be likely to listen to me. A lot of people LIKE their wars, as long as THEY don't have to fight in them.
5. Generally speaking, how did you meet the majority of your current friends?
The Internet, I guess. And They Might Be Giants communities in particular.
