I just got a haircut, which I desperately needed. Once my hair starts getting in my eyes, the jig is definitely up, so to speak.

Anyway, Days of Our Lives was on the TV at the time, and one of the first things I heard was something along the lines of, "She usually always returns my text messages!" This led to a comment on how technology is a mixed blessing, or something like that. Then, later on, someone mentioned pictures she'd received on her cell phone.

Don't you love it when old shows make token efforts to keep abreast of modern technology?

A more substantial post should be forthcoming. For one thing, I'm going to want to write about the two CD's I bought yesterday. I have to finish listening to them first, though.

It always cracks me up on Young and the Restless when the characters are trying to use new fangled technology. And its not like there isn't any old timers on the show either, they're all business people. It just sounds funny coming out of their mouths.

When watching an old movie or TV show, I sometimes think, "This whole story would fall apart if there had been cell phones back then."

It doesn't even have to be that old. I remember my dad making a comment like that when we were watching a Seinfeld episode where Jerry and George were trying to find a pay phone in Los Angeles.

Of course, there are always ways to get around the fact that so many people have cell phones nowadays. You know, dead batteries, lack of reception, lousy calling plans, etc.

I cut my hair just last night. What a coincidence.

You cut it yourself, then? I don't think I could ever do that.

That's the advantage of having really friggin' long hair. You can reach all the ends evenly.

I got a bunch, but most notably the CD it appears that you got as well, and I thought it was really rather good.
