I doubt this entry will be of much interest to anyone, but there are a few things I'd been wanting to mention, but hadn't had the time to actually work into a post.

My dad and his wife Barbara are up from New Mexico this weekend, so I met them for lunch. We went to a place called the Winner's Circle Sports Grille, where I had the messy-but-tasty peel-and-eat shimp special. It was nowhere near the amount of shrimp they give you at Red Lobster, but it was considerably cheaper. (I'm not sure about the unit price, but I would imagine that Red Lobster would have the edge.) I mean, I didn't pay for it, but a good deal is a good deal, right? There were no sides or anything, though, so I'm still kind of hungry. Fortunately, I brought a lunch with me.

I'm going to be moving some more stuff tonight. I stupidly forgot to bring back my big suitcase, though, so I'll have to make do with the small one. I don't have that many more clothes to bring, so it shouldn't be a problem. And if it is, it's not like I HAVE to take them all tonight. I really should get rid of the clothes I never wear, and maybe go out and buy some of the types of clothing of which I have too few (especially pants).

Your Brain's Pattern

Your mind is a firestorm - full of intensity and drama.
Your thoughts may seem scattered to you most of the time...
But they often seem strong and passionate to those around you.
You are a natural influencer. The thoughts you share are very powerful and persuading.

You Are 36% Open Minded

You aren't exactly open minded, but you have been known to occasionally change your mind.
You're tolerant enough to get along with others who are very different...
But you may be quietly judgmental of things or people you think are wrong.
You take your own values pretty seriously, and it would take a lot to change them.

And just a few other brief points:

1. Camper Van Beethoven's Key Lime Pie is a really cool album, but I get the idea that I'd like it better if "Jack Ruby" weren't right at the beginning (well, right after the instrumental Opening Theme, anyway). It's an interesting song, but it's long and kind of slow. I think it's best to start out an album with engaging songs that don't overstay their welcome, you know? The longer ones can be saved for later on.

2. I hate it when I find a comfortable position, and then I have to get up, and can never quite find it again. It's particularly annoying when it's a matter of having to adjust furniture that other people also use.

3. I need a haircut, but I have no idea when I'm going to have the chance to get one. Maybe this Saturday, although I don't think getting one at a New Jersey Supercuts would count toward my free one.

Me, too. It happened to me in 1992. I just have never found comfortable again.
