So, just in case you're interested, here's what I got for Christmas:
- A sweater
- Two pairs of pants
- An electric blanket
- Dragon Warrior I & II (Game Boy Color version)
- The Wonder Book, by Ruth Plumly Thompson
- Return to the Hundred Acre Wood, by David Benedictus
- And Another Thing..., by Eoin Colfer
- The Collected Short Stories of L. Frank Baum, edited by Katharine M. Rogers
- Normal As Blueberry Pie, Nellie McKay's Doris Day tribute album. Actually,
bethje got a Doris Day CD from her Uncle John, so I guess I can do point-by-point comparisons. {g}
- Songs for Steve, by the Ditty Bops
The day was fairly uneventful otherwise. Some of Beth's family came over for dinner, but I've spent most of the day on the computer, just like every other day when I'm not working. I still haven't decided what I'm going to do with my family, when I'm going to see them, or what I'm going to give them. I suck at Christmas. Too bad there aren't any ghosts around to fill me with the proper spirit. Oh, well. If you haven't seen it yet, enjoy
this page on the changing images of Santa Claus. Where else are you going to see St. Nicholas beating a child? Well, actually, right here.
