Reticulating Splines

arfies) talking about playing it, but also because of a dream I had where there were succubi in the game, and some girl (it might have been bethje, or maybe even my sister) said they didn't like the word "succubus." Anyway, I installed the game and the first two expansion packs, and played it for the first time in a while. As I suspected, I tend to spend all my free time playing it, which means it was probably a bad idea to get back into it. It was difficult to tear myself away from it and write this entry. Oh, well.
As I said, I only installed the first two expansion packs, because Hot Date made making and keeping friends way too difficult, and all the later ones kept the Hot Date system of socialization. I really wish I could have installed Unleashed, which is definitely the best expansion since Livin' Large. I'd sort of like to take another crack at the special stuff in Vacation and Makin' Magic (not that I can find the latter, but I think it might still be at my mom's house). Maybe once I get my new households enough money that they no longer have to worry about promotions. Actually, if I reinstall Unleashed, I might want to see if I can find any old data, because I know I had some pets whose skills I'd built up almost all the way.
I tend to make a lot of my Sims Oz characters, but never the famous ones. I've never had an Ozma or Dorothy Sim, for instance. Instead, I'll usually go for minor characters, or ones I've created myself. I once had a family that included Princess Azarine from Ozoplaning with the Wizard of Oz and her tomboyish sister Karmella, whom I might use in a story I'm planning out. I probably won't include her lesbian relationship with one of the Townies, though. {g}
Okay, it's been well over a week since I did that Babelfish meme, so I might as well provide the answers now. The songs were:

I said here that I would do an All About Me post, but I really can't think of anything to say that I haven't mentioned in earlier posts. I'm sure y'all won't be too bothered if I don't make that post, will you? If there's anything you really do want me to write about myself, just let me know.
Finally, the mix CD's forrockinlibrarian, obsessical, onib, revme, leolapyre, and lozenger8 are all in the mail as of yesterday. It might be a little while before you got them (especially for Loz; they estimated four to six weeks), but let me know when you do.
