How I Spent My Weekend
Jun. 13th, 2006 12:57 amI did a few things this past weekend, but I don't have that much to say about them. Still, when has that ever stopped me before? On Saturday night, I went out with
bethje and Dorothea to Atlantic City. I hadn't been there in a while, so that was cool. On the Steel Pier, some woman practically accosted us to try to get us to pay for massages. Dorothea actually got one, but Beth and I declined. I don't think I'd enjoy a massage much, what with my discomfort at being touched by strangers. That, and my dad loves massages, so that means I have to find them uncool, right? :P
On Sunday, I also went out with Beth and Dorothea, this time to the second birthday party of Nathan, their cousin (once removed). Beth picked out a shirt and a bucket of Duplo blocks to give him. He's a happy baby, so that's good.
Here's an interview with Eric Shanower, in which he addresses Adventures in Oz, the new collection of his Oz graphic novels. I'm unsure as to whether I should get the regular edition or the limited one. The limited edition costs more than I'd really like to pay, but I would like to see the extra material that's in it.
( And here are two surveys. )
