I got
bethje A Radical Recital, the new live Rasputina album, for her birthday. Oddly enough, as of the present time, I've listened to it and she hasn't. {g} I like the "strange and amazing comments" at the beginning of each song. There's something about Hitler having only one testicle, and a story about a national identification system where everyone will have a grain of rice embedded in their arm.
Earlier tonight (or last night, if you prefer), Beth and I went to the Build-A-Bear in the mall, and made a cat (the "Sassy Kitty" kind) for Beth's birthday present. Her name is Catsy, and we got her an overalls-type outfit (I believe it was called a "denim jumper" or something of the sort) and a pink collar to wear.
After that, we went to the Olive Garden for dinner. I had the four-cheese shrimp ravioli, which was very good. Most of the food I've had there is, though, so I'm not surprised.
Back at Beth's house, we watched Rosemary's Baby, which was better than The Omen, although it was somewhat slow-paced. It was an interesting story, but I have to wonder at how easily Rosemary's husband went along with his wife giving birth to the spawn of Satan. Sure, he got fame and fortune out of it, but you'd think he'd have been a little more concerned about the whole thing.
( Finally, a survey )
