Does anyone ever eat just one of...no, not Lay's potato chips, but those instant oatmeal packets? They're so small. I usually will eat three, and I'm generally still hungry afterwards.

I bought tickets today to see Neko Case in Philadelphia in April. The show will be at the Trocadero instead of the Tin Angel. It's cool that Neko is moving up in the world, but I liked being able to sit down for her shows. It's weird how the really small and really big venues have seats, but the intermediate ones (i.e., the ones that host most of the artists I want to see) don't. At least the Trocadero is preferable to the TLA. I'm pretty sure the TLA is bigger (although I've heard people say otherwise), but it's way down on South Street, out of the way of both public transportation and parking lots.

The Sam Goody in the mall is closing down, and having a clearance sale. Even with the sale, though, just about everything STILL costs more than it does anywhere else. Gee, I wonder why they aren't doing much business? :P

Okay, [livejournal.com profile] rockinlibrarian tagged me for this, so I guess I'll do it:

Guilt
What is yours?
Explain yourself
Culinary: Fast food breakfast sandwiches I know they're really bad for you, but I love those things. Especially the bacon, egg, and cheese bagels.
Literary: Choose Your Own Adventure knock-offs When I was a kid, I bought several Narnia and Super Mario Bros. ones. I've come across some of my old ones recently, and they're still pretty fun.
Audiovisual: American Idol TV shows count, right? I think the fact that it's something Beth and I watch together is an important contributing factor.
Musical: Can't really think of any I wouldn't say I'm ashamed of any of my music, but I guess it really depends on the company I'm in when discussing it.
Celebrity: Again, can't really think of any Actually, I guess Weird Al might count, not because I'm at all ashamed of liking him, but because I think I might have gone a little too far in my obsession back when I was younger. I mean, he was a major factor in my wanting to grow a mustache, which really didn't work for me.

Now I tag:-

I'll do that with instant grits, but I've leveled off with the oatmeal as of late.

I don't think I've ever tried grits. We don't cotton to that kind of thing up north. {g}

That's wonderful.

I can't say he's had the same effect on me.

Thanks!

I don't really think a mustache would work for you, either. {g}

I only eat one of the oatmeal packets, and I never considered eating more than one. But Jay does. I guess I just don't like oatmeal that much.

And nobody EVER tags me. *weep*

Well, I grew up on oatmeal, so that probably has a lot to do with why I like to eat a lot of it.

And nobody EVER tags me.

I actually thought about tagging you for this one, but I wasn't sure you'd read it. Maybe I'll tag you for the next thing that involves tagging. And hey, feel free to do this meme if you'd like. I have a feeling that not everyone who WAS tagged will do it.

fast food breakfast sandwiches rule. I'll do you one better. Instead of the bagel, how about some lard-containing biscuits?

I used to always get the biscuit sandwiches at McDonald's, and then I decided I preferred the bagels for some reason. I guess it just depends on what I'm craving at the time.
