I weigh the same as three apples

bethje and I went to the Christmas social at work. The traffic was bad, so we ended up getting there around 7:20, when it started at 6. I mean, we knew we wouldn't get there on time, but we didn't know we'd be THAT late. Anyway, though, the food was good. Among other things, they had shrimp (even though they were chilled, which is how everyone but me seems to prefer them), scallops wrapped in bacon, and macaroons. I hadn't had macaroons in years, and I used to love them when I was a kid. It turns out I still like them a lot.
After the social, we stopped by the King of Prussia Mall. Beth checked out the Sanrio store, but ended up not buying anything. We also got some overpriced drinks at the Haagen-Dazs stand. She had a chocolate milkshake, and I had a drink made of raspberry sorbet.
I had a dream that I was at some kind of convention, which I think was being held at the same hotel as the one where the past few Monster-Mania Conventions were. I'm not sure exactly what kind of convention it was, but Laura Cantrell was going to be there, and I wanted her to sign one of her albums. I think I had forgotten to bring one, though. Regardless, I didn't actually see her in the dream, as far as I can recall.
I mailed out my mix CD's and Christmas cards today. Writing out my own address multiple times can be pretty tiring. I should probably invest in some of those return address labels. Hopefully people will get this stuff before Christmas, but it doesn't really matter, I suppose. Here's the tracklist for my end-of-the-year mix:
