1. WHAT COLOR ARE YOUR KITCHEN PLATES??? I don't have my own kitchen, but my mom's are white. She also has red and blue plastic plates, which are what I usually use. What's with all the question marks???????
2. WHAT BOOK ARE YOU READING??? I'm in the process of re-reading The Emerald Wand of Oz, by Sherwood Smith; and Reaper Man, by Terry Pratchett.
3. WHAT IS ON YOUR MOUSE PAD? I know I have one with walruses on it, but I don't think that's the one I'm currently using. I can't remember.
4. FAVORITE BOARD GAME??? I like Monopoly, although it's hard to finish playing through an entire game. I also like Dungeon!, which is a board game made by TSR.
5. DO YOU DRINK COFFEE OR ESPRESSO? No.
6. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU WAKE UP IN THE MORNING??? Usually something along the lines of, "Do I really have to get up?"
7. FAVORITE COLOR??? Red
8. LEAST FAVORITE COLOR? That really ugly one
9. HOW MANY RINGS UNTIL YOU ANSWER THE PHONE? When I lived at school and people kept calling me with wrong numbers, I got into the habit of not answering until at least the second ring. With my cell phone, though, I tend to answer right away if it's someone I know I want to talk to.
10. FUTURE CHILD'S NAME??? I don't want to have kids, but I've always liked the name Anna Rose for a girl. For a boy...I don't know.
11. CHOCOLATE OR VANILLA??? Vanilla, although I'm not a big fan of either one. Give me something fruit-flavored!
12. DO YOU LIKE TO DRIVE FAST? Sometimes, but not for long periods of time.
13. DO YOU SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL??? Sometimes.
14. DO YOU LIKE THUNDERSTORMS??? Not really. I was terrified of lightning when I was a kid. I'm not so much now, but I'm still not a fan.
15. WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? Ford Focus
16. WHAT IS YOUR SIGN??? Scorpio
17. DO YOU EAT THE STEMS OF BROCCOLI??? Yeah, when I eat broccoli, I eat all of it.
18. IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY JOB WHAT WOULD IT BE? Being paid to read Oz books, perhaps?
19. IF YOU COULD HAVE ANY COLOR HAIR, WHAT WOULD IT BE?? I'm okay with the color I have now. It might be nice to be able to change it at will, though, like Tonks.
20. IS THE GLASS HALF FULL OR HALF EMPTY??? That depends on what's in it.
21. FAVORITE MOVIE? I don't really have one.
22. DO YOU TYPE WITH YOUR FINGERS ON THE RIGHT KEYS? Yeah.
23. WHAT'S UNDER YOUR BED??? Mostly books and papers
24. WHAT HAPPENED TO QUESTION 24?????????? It got cut up and recycled into a bunch of extra question marks.
25. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH??? None of them
26. YOUR SINGLE BIGGEST INTENSE PAIN??? I don't know, but it was quite painful when I jumped off my bike and skinned my knees.
27. PERSON MOST LIKELY TO RESPOND TO THIS??? Probably nobody.
28. PERSON YOU SENT THIS TO WHO IS LEAST LIKELY TO RESPOND? I didn't actually send it to anybody.
29. KETCHUP OR MUSTARD??? Depends on what it's on. Ketchup for burgers, breaded or battered fish, and fries; mustard for hot dogs and ham sandwiches.

34. FAVORITE FAST FOOD? Chick-fil-A
35. WHAT IS YOUR BIRTH NAME??? The same as my name now
Despite the fact that I mentioned summer as being my favorite season in that survey, I have to admit that today was (and still is, I suppose, but I'm inside now) a very pretty fall day, with the varicolored leaves all over the place and such. And it's not cold or anything, either, which is good.
Last night, Beth and I watched Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation, which sucked. Seriously, the plot was full of holes, and Leatherface was hardly even in it. And don't get me started on the idea that Leathface's crazy hick family (which, for some reason, seems to grow exponentially with every movie in the series) is working for some kind of secret society. I guess we never find out for sure whether that's true, since the woman who says it is presented as a compulsive liar, but otherwise the visit by the two guys in uniforms is utterly pointless. Actually, it's probably utterly pointless even if the conspiracy stuff IS true. Still, I'm glad I saw the movie, because I'm somewhat of a completist when it comes to series.
Incidentally, did the idea of "The Next Generation" being added to titles originate with Star Trek (which is what I would assume), or did it occur before that?
