I got my new driver's license picture taken yesterday, but it's not very good. I'm terrible at smiling on command. At least my hair looks like it does now, rather than how it looked when I was twenty. After that, I went to the grocery store to buy a few things for lunch, and no express lanes were open. Can you believe that? {g}

Hmm, this bag of Goldfish says I could instantly win a chance to meet Drake Bell. Too bad I have no clue who that is. Apparently he's some young singer dude.

I just finished writing an Oz story. I'm not sure it's very good, but at least it's done. I have a bad habit of really rushing the endings of things I write, and this one is no exception. My working title was "Revolution in Oz," but I never thought it was all that appropriate. I mean, it IS about a revolution in Oz, but that title is very vague and general, and implies that it's a revolution against the main government of Oz, rather than against that of a minor principality within Oz (which is the case). Hopefully I'll be able to edit it into something better when I'm less tired. It does contain some ideas that I really do like.

Wouldn't it be funny if you won the Goldfish contest, though?

Yeah, I thought about that. I wonder what happens if you end up not wanting the prize. I mean, if it were a physical item I didn't want, I'd sell it. Is it possible to sell a meeting with someone, though? I think some contests might also offer cash prizes in place of the regular ones.

If I won that Dodge Viper in that McDonalds monopoly contest they're doing now, I'd sell that ugly ass car in a heartbeat. Get me something a bit bigger, something you can take out every day (not an SUV or anything, just a sedan) and put the rest of the money away for school or something.

My driver's license picture already looks outdated, and I only got it two and a half years ago. I'm sure it'll be even more so when I get it renewed in 2011.

I got a non-driving ID card when I was 20, and when I got my driver's license at 24, they just reused the same picture. They didn't even ask me if I wanted it retaken.
