Jesus, Batman, and Bacon
Sep. 4th, 2005 10:57 amI had a dream last night about some movie involving both Batman and Jesus. (Well, I guess it was a movie. It was one of those dream situations where it looks like something is happening right in front of you, but you can't interact with the people there.) Batman had some sidekick who wasn't Robin. He was some big guy who might have been named Tiny, but I can't remember for sure. Anyway, at one point an older version of the sidekick came back in time with an older version of Jesus. I think the two sidekicks got into a fight, and then Jesus healed the one who was injured. I wish I could remember more details, because the whole thing was pretty crazy. I don't even remember how Batman himself actually fit into it, but I'm pretty sure he was there.
I just learned about Chief Justice Rehnquist dying. That's too bad, although I can't say I'm too surprised. It does bother me that Bush is slowly (or maybe not even that slowly) gaining the ability to appoint a whole new Supreme Court. Did Sandra Day O'Connor ever give an official reason for her retirement? I'll admit I didn't pay that much attention to that, but it strikes me as an odd decision to retire when the Chief Justice is on his last legs.
In other news, Tony's frozen pizza with Canadian bacon isn't as good as I had hoped. It's apparently a new item, and I remember liking Canadian bacon as a kid (I think it used to be a topping at Pizza Hut, but I don't believe it is anymore), so I decided to try one. The bacon was kind of tough to chew, and didn't have that much flavor. Maybe it's just a topping that doesn't work well on cheap frozen pizzas.
