I got this from [livejournal.com profile] lozenger8. Hopefully someone will fill it out. I know a lot of people aren't interesting in doing things like this, but I always post them anyway.

01. Who are you?
02. Where on earth do you live?
03. What makes you happy?
04. Fandoms we share:
05. Do you enjoy reading my LJ and if so, why?
06. Interesting fact about you:
07. When and how did we 'meet'?
08. How well do you know me?
09. Describe me in one word:
10. What was your first impression upon meeting me?
11. Do you still think that way about me now?
12. What (or who -- this can be a character) reminds you of me?
13. If you could give me anything what would it be?
14. Favourite quote:
15. After answering all these question, do you want to ask me one in turn?
16. Are you going to put this on your LiveJournal and see what I say about you (if you haven't already)?

It seemed like my ear was starting to feel better yesterday, but then it got worse overnight. I tried some earwax removal drops, and they seemed to work pretty well. It says to use them twice a day for up to five days, so, since I'm almost out of the other medicine, I think I'm going to try that. If it doesn't help, I guess I'll call the doctor again, but I really want to avoid that if at all possible.

The library is closed today, but I'm working anyway. I should have brought a CD or two to listen to, since I'm here all alone, but I didn't think of it.

i *always* do these...

05. Well, I'd stop talking so much about my ear, if it would just stop bothering me!
14. Hey hey, here comes Slideshow Mel. Again: Here comes SIDESHOW Mel.
15. What kind of present?
16. Okay, I'll do it for you now.

01. Who are you?: I am Laura. Also known as Loz. Or "her - there".
02. Where on earth do you live?: Adelaide, South Australia
03. What makes you happy?: Little things!
04. Fandoms we share: Futurama, Harry Potter, TMBG, Weird Al (well, those last two are sort of fandoms).
05. Do you enjoy reading my LJ and if so, why?: I do, very much. You often go to concerts and watch films about things which I am interested in and you also often have quizzes. Plus you just seem like a really lovely person.
06. Interesting fact about you: I've performed "Shirley Valentine" in front of a live audience, Liverpudlian accent and all.
07. When and how did we 'meet'?: We met on the Futurama LJ comm, with you replying to shappyshaps and my conversation about Ben Folds living in Adelaide. I added you because you seemed to be someone who rocked. At least, I I'm pretty sure I added you and not the other way around.
08. How well do you know me?: As well as you can know someone whose LJ you read. We don't real-time chat or participate in any forums together. But I know you better than a lot of my LJ friends.
09. Describe me in one word: Impossible. That's not the word, I just can't do it.
10. What was your first impression upon meeting me?: Very witty, friendly and all around cool.
11. Do you still think that way about me now?: Most certainly.
12. What (or who -- this can be a character) reminds you of me?: Erm... my best friend's boyfriend because he's a Nathan too.
13. If you could give me anything what would it be?: Relief from the ear infection of doom.
14. Favourite quote: This changes. Currently it's; "Ridden? Yes. Studied? No. Learned? No."
15. After answering all these question, do you want to ask me one in turn?: Sure. Is it true that men are from omicron persei 7 and women are from omicron persei 9?
16. Are you going to put this on your LiveJournal and see what I say about you (if you haven't already)?: I have already. You stole it from me.

06. I don't think I know that song.
07. Yeah, you added me first, but I think I might have commented on an entry in your journal before you did.
13. That would certainly be nice!
14. What's that from?
15. My hands are HUGE. They can touch anything except themselves...Oh, wait.
16. I'm a regular Robin Hood. Except you're not rich, as far as I know.

And so's Educating Rita - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085478/

01. Who are you?: Me.

03. What makes you happy?: Lots of things, usually the typical ones like paychecks, babies, board games, silliness...
04. Fandoms we share:??
05. Do you enjoy reading my LJ and if so, why? I do. You're like my personal movie critic. :)
06. Interesting fact about you: We've never met.
07. When and how did we 'meet'? See above.
08. How well do you know me? Not very well, but if you're a friend of Amy's, you have to be all right. ;)
09. Describe me in one word: Enigmatic
10. What was your first impression upon meeting me? Still haven't done that...I'll get back to you.
11. Do you still think that way about me now? Ummm...sure?
12. What (or who -- this can be a character) reminds you of me? Video games
13. If you could give me anything what would it be? magical ear drops that work.
14. Favourite quote: I don't have one.
15. After answering all these question, do you want to ask me one in turn? Not particularly...I'll come up with one later. :)
16. Are you going to put this on your LiveJournal and see what I say about you (if you haven't already)? Um, if you want to, you can.

Sorry I'm not more interesting. I didn't read through the questions before we started to see how dependent it was on me meeting you IRL...

04. I think that basically just means interests we have in common. Stuff we're both fans of, you know? Or did you already realize that, and just can't think of anything that would fit?
05. That's interesting, considering how few movies I used to watch. Netflix has changed my life. {g}
13. I guess the earwax removal drops are working fairly well, but they're certainly far from being magical.

Sorry I'm not more interesting. I didn't read through the questions before we started to see how dependent it was on me meeting you IRL...

Well, I haven't met [livejournal.com profile] lozenger8 or [livejournal.com profile] obsessical in real life, and we still did this for each other. I think you just have to read "meet" as meaning "became aware of each other online," if you haven't actually met the person in real life. That's probably why it's in quotation marks.

01. Who are you? Besides rockinlibrarian?
02. Where on earth do you live? Canonsburg PA
03. What makes you happy? friends and family and good food and good music and good books and random odd pleasant things
04. Fandoms we share: Harry Potter, Discworld
05. Do you enjoy reading my LJ and if so, why? Yes, because you have so many random things to comment on. And your subject lines are usually very funny.
06. Interesting fact about you: I am distantly related to Huckleberry Finn. All right, the real life person on whom Huckleberry Finn was based.
07. When and how did we 'meet'? Somewhere in the halls of Whitmyre, sometime in late august/early september 1996?
08. How well do you know me? Weller than a lot of the people who don't know you in real life? And a lot more now that I'm reading your lj, too.
09. Describe me in one word: unique
10. What was your first impression upon meeting me? Who is this crazy man and what is going on in his brain?
11. Do you still think that way about me now? Hmm... yes, to some extent. Although I know a bit more of what is going on in your brain.
12. What (or who -- this can be a character) reminds you of me? Oz books.
13. If you could give me anything what would it be? A really cool full time library job in the setting of your choice.
14. Favourite quote: Oh dear. You mean total of all time, without any relation to what would make sense to anyone else? That would be "Apart from the bit about the monkey..." not that that means anything at all out of context.
15. After answering all these question, do you want to ask me one in turn? No?
16. Are you going to put this on your LiveJournal and see what I say about you (if you haven't already)? I don't know. I might.

05. Thanks. I like it when I can think of a really good subject line. What's annoying is when I'm desperate, and just go with something like "another post about video games," or whatever. {g}

06. Seriously? Oh, you mean the person Huck Finn was BASED on, not Huck Finn, that's good, I was going to have to revoke your college and library degrees.... A childhood friend of Twain's named Tom Blankenship who was just like the character, and, oddly, he grew up to be a judge.
11. In a good way. :D

06. Yeah, that's what I meant. After studying the book in both high school AND college, I know who the character is. {g}
11. There's a good way to be crazy? Well, I guess being eccentric is sometimes seen as good.
