My allergies have been acting up a lot as of late. I especially hate sneezing while I'm driving. Today, I bought some non-drowsy allergy relief medicine, which was quite expensive compared to the kind that makes you tired. I'm hoping it'll work. I have noticed that my allergies aren't as bad if I stay indoors, but it gets worse if someone opens the windows.

Last night, [livejournal.com profile] bethje and I went to Atlantic City, where I won $5 on the penny slots. I'm sure I spent more money on gas to drive there, but since I was going to spend that money regardless, I suppose it was a small net profit. We walked along the Boardwalk for a little while, and saw some of the stray cats that live under it. I'm not sure why there are so many there, but there are. They usually run away from anyone who approaches them, but they seemed to be pretty cool with this one guy who had cat food.

We're planning on going to the King of Prussia Mall today, and eating at Bennigan's while we're there. That should be fun, even though there's nothing I really want to buy. (Okay, I'm sure I could find something I'd buy if I had unlimited funds, but I don't know that there's anything I realistically WOULD buy.)

The KOP mall has a very good music and comic store. the music store is the only place i've phsyically seen Then: the earlier years and the pink album. Which I both had to borrow money from my parents to buy, on two separate occasions.

you should get some good comics while you're there.

Which music store is that? I know that mall has a Sam Goody, an FYE or two, and a Borders. There's also a Tower down the road a bit.

I didn't have any trouble finding Then in stores back when I bought it (the summer of 1997), but it was pretty new at that point. I sometimes look in the TMBG sections at music stores, just out of habit and curiosity, but I really can't remember how often I've seen Then in recent years.

I've never been into comics, but I think I might know the store you're talking about. Is it the Comics and More in the Plaza?

Make sure you're always looking at the active ingredients, and buying the cheapest generic equivalent. Generic Claritin, or loratadine, is the only truly non-drowsy allergy medicine I've found. If I get it from Sam's, it's about $.10 a pill; a small pack from Wal Mart is about $.20 a pill.

I remember when it was precription, and $3 a pill. Bleah.

And Lexington is the worst city in the country for allergies this year. Whoo hoo!

Yeah, I think the medicine I got was loratadine. I got it at the CVS.
