I got this quiz from skylark_king. I've already answered some of these questions on other surveys, but I might as well answer them again.


1. What does your LJ nickname mean?
It comes from some variables in physics: initital velocity, final velocity, acceleration, and time. The order isn't based on a formula or anything (I believe the formula that uses those variables is something like V=V(0)+at), but simply on the order in which the guy next to me in class had them written down.

2. Elaborate on your icon photo?
It's a picture of Wart, the final boss in Super Mario Bros. 2.

3. Did you lie about your age anywhere on the net?
Hmm...does it count if you've done that to mess with lame-asses who send random IMs?

4. How many LJ friends do you have?

5. What is your current status?
I'm sitting at a computer and typing this. And I'm tired.

7. What is life to you?
Something that's full of annoyances, but that I would still be loath to give up.

8. What is love to you?
An overwhelming feeling of attachment to and caring for another person

9. What kind of people do you hate most?
Jerks. I think that covers a pretty wide spectrum of people I don't like. Some jerks are okay, though, if they're funny about it.

10.What type of people do you like most?
People who like me, I guess.

11.What makes you happy?
Various things. Being able to relax with no obligations is nice. bethje also makes me happy, of course.

12.Are you musically inclined?
I don't think I am, unfortunately. But maybe I just haven't gotten enough practice.

13.What would you do if you woke up one morning and found out that the person you love most didn't exist or was killed?
Now that's just something that I couldn't predict, and that's really too terrible for me to want to think about it. I know I'd be devastated, and I'd probably panic.

14.If you could go back in time and change ONE thing, what would you change?
I don't know, but it would probably have something to do with the beginning of my relationship with Beth. I think I messed quite a few things up with that. On the other hand, it seems to have worked out all right in the end, so I don't know.

15.If you MUST be an animal for ONE day, what will you be?
I think I'll have to copy skylark_king's answer, and be a cat.

16.Ever had a near death experience?
No

17.Name ONE obvious personality quality you have.
I get frustrated very easily.

18.What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
Well, I had "Dare To Be Stupid, by "Weird Al" Yankovic, in my head while in the car a few minutes ago.

19.Are you happy today?
I'm okay, I guess. The rain tends to bring me down.

IRRELEVANT COMPLAINT OF THE DAY: I hate it when Windows boxes give "OK" as the only option, even when whatever they're saying isn't okay in the least. They should replace it with something like "understood" or "acknowledged," so that you won't be forced to say you're fine with something bad.
