The mail must get through

The mix CDs I made for colleenanne, countblastula, aliste, and slfcllednowhere should be in the mail now. I forgot that the main counter of the post office wouldn't be open on Veterans' Day, but I was able to use their new machine for weighing and stamping packages. I hope I did everything correctly, and that the packages won't end up being return to sender, like that Elvis song. The stamps the machine makes were too big to really fit on the envelopes, so I hope to wrap part of them around the sides. Anyway, they should be arriving before too much longer, so let me know when they come, and what you think of them.

Maybe I'll go shoe shopping tomorrow.

I just got the CD and so far it's fantastic. I remember a few of these songs from an old 3rd or 4th generation bootleg tape I have called "The Bull With The Golden Guts." It's great to finally have them in their full CD glory.

Yeah, I'd heard about Bull and other official bootlegs, but I've never actually had any of them, in fourth generation form or otherwise, so most of the songs on Fuzzy Warbles that weren't demos of album tracks were new to me. I pretty much focused on the unreleased songs, rather than the demos, when making the mix. The demos are certainly worth hearing, but so many unreleased songs were mix-worthy that there really wasn't room for them.
