I watched Fox's Sunday night lineup of animated shows, minus King of the Hill, and I have to say that everything was decent enough, but nothing to write home about. (That's a rather odd expression, isn't it?) I will say that the Simpsons episode could probably have gotten more mileage than they did out of the opera thing, but it was still pretty good. The most interesting thing about it, however, is that I'd been listening to the Season 10 audio commentaries, and two jokes in particular seemed to be specific references to the commentaries: Marge getting Chief Wiggum's name wrong, and Homer's hoping he'd get a case of Spaghetti-O's for mentioning the product. I haven't heard all of the commentaries yet, so it's possible there were others as well. It's a whole new level of meta-reference!

I've been brainstorming ideas for my promised post on bad licensed video games, and I haven't been able to come up with as many games as you might think. I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but I might expand it to include games that weren't especially bad, but were kind of weird. You know, like that game based on the 7-Up Spot.
