My mom used to like Norm Abram. Not sure what she'd think of him in hi-def. #
  • 21:42 Odd that the first few Google results for the term "bones" pertain to the TV show, not the skeletal system. #

We were originally going to see Michael Ian Black and Michael Showalter live in Philadelphia back in October, but they delayed the show due to the World Series. Why they delayed it for so long isn't clear, but they finally held it tonight. There was an opener, whose name I can't remember exactly, but I think it was Craig something. He was all right, and he did some song dissection bits, which is something I typically enjoy. He mentioned how the song "Don't Cry Out Loud" had a dangerous message, but didn't address how the verses and chorus don't seem to have anything to do with each other, which is something that's always struck me. You know what other song is like that? Whitney Houston's "Greatest Love of All." First she sings about how children are our future, and then goes into how great loving yourself is. Hey, Whitney, what happened to the kids? Anyway, getting back to the show, the two Michaels addressed everything from reality television to the scary voice on their rental car's GPS. Michael Ian Black read a poem that he found on the McDonald's website, so I decided to check and see if it was still there, and here it is. It's nowhere near as funny without Black's introduction, but it's still amusingly weird.
