I got a strawberry banana Fruit Blast Smoothie at the Dunkin' Donuts/Baskin-Robbins last night, and I have to say I quite enjoyed it. From what the worker there told me, the Smoothies contain ice cream, while the regular Fruit Blasts do not. Although this was from the Baskin-Robbins part, it does remind of something that's pretty old news now, but that I'd been meaning to mention, which is how Dunkin' Donuts dropped an ad under pressure from Michelle Malkin. All I can figure is that Malkin is one of their best customers. Maybe she buys a dozen donuts every day. Otherwise, it's awfully difficult to understand why anyone would pay attention to her. I believe I first became aware of her when I saw her book about liberals are insane. Sure, there are some crazy left-wingers, but from what I saw, the book was more along the lines of "Hey, remember when Howard Dean yelled that one time?" I thought at first that it might be fun to do a rebuttal against just the introduction, but then I found out that Malkin had written another book defending the internment of Japanese-Americans, and I figured that nothing she said was really worth arguing against. Seriously, I think the woman makes makes Ann Coulter seem like a beacon of enlightenment.

Speaking of right-wing media, courtesy of Keith Olbermann, it's been confirmed that Fox News received talking points from the Bush White House.

And courtesy of [livejournal.com profile] twobitme, I found out that some shops that sell cupcakes are now offering shots of frosting. Is it just me, or does that sound like a Simpsons joke? "Marge, tell Bart I just want to drink a nice glass of syrup like I do every morning."
