God's giving deserves our Thanks-Living
Nov. 22nd, 2007 12:49 pmHappy Thanksgiving! While I definitely see the appeal of a holiday based around eating, I've never been a huge turkey fan. I like it all right, but I'm almost wishing that this were one of the days when the traditional menu included hot dogs. Maybe some year I'll split the difference and have turkey dogs. And hey, at least the traditional Thanksgiving meal doesn't include corned beef or green potatoes (not that I'd be likely to eat those things even if it did).
I've been talking a lot about food this week, haven't I?
I really need to straighten up my room. I keep resolving to just put things away periodically, but then I'm always too lazy to do so, and the whole thing spirals out of control. I don't know what I'll be doing today aside from eating, so I might not get around to it for a little while, but I really think it needs to be done soon.
