Pumpkin

Pumpkin (AKA Maokit), the cat my roommate Dorothea got for her ninth birthday, died yesterday. It wasn't unexpected, since she's eighteen years old and had seemed very frail as of late, but it's still sad. She hated me at first, but she eventually warmed up to me. What's eerily coincidental is that bethje's cat David died the same day last year.

On a lighter note, Beth and I went on a haunted hayride last night. What's weird is that there were no little kids in the wagon with us. There was, however, a couple who sat across from us, the woman of which had never been on such a ride before, and acted scared of everything.
