Bistromathics
Aug. 31st, 2007 08:54 amOkay, I don't know WHAT the deal was with this dream I had yesterday. I was getting ready to leave my house (or at least the house where I lived in the dream, which was quite similar to where I really live, but older and more rustic-looking, and with an eight-track tape player), and I wanted to make sure all the cats were out of my room. The three actual cats were all in the living room, but there was an orange kitten in my room, so I tried to carry him out. His tail came off at one point, and at another, his body and head jumped up on a shelf separately, and then reattached themselves. It looked pretty creepy, but within the dream, I think it annoyed me more than anything else.
bethje bought me dinner at Pizza Hut last night, which was nice of her, since she doesn't really like pizza. It was my first time at one of those Italian Bistros, but I just got one of the items off the regular menu (specifically the Cheese Lover's pan pizza with pepperoni and mushrooms), instead of one of the special Bistro items. Beth said that the inside looked like a Fuddrucker's, which I guess it did, albeit without the Western appearance. It was definitely less dank than a regular Pizza Hut. I guess the Italian Bistro thing is kind of a gimmick, but then, Pizza Hut has been all about the gimmicks for years. One that I remember from my childhood that no one seems to talk about anymore is the Priazzo. Anyone else remember that? (And have I asked this question before?) It had two layers of crust, with toppings on each one. I don't know. I like Pizza Hut because, well, their pizza tastes good. I don't think they really need the gimmicks to stay in business, what do I know from marketing?
I should get my oil changed today. They always say to get it done after 3000 miles or three months, and this is the first time it's actually taken three months for me to drive 3000 miles. Hooray for driving less! Who knows how much longer I'll be able to keep that up, though?
Finally, happy birthday to
themall, and happy one-day-after-your-birthday to
revme!
