Et tu, Brute?

While a lot of people are talking about St. Patrick's Day, presumably because it gives them an excuse to drink heavily (as if Middle America NEEDS another excuse to drink heavily), I tend to be more excited by the Ides of March. So is the moral of Caesar's assassination that a power-hungry dictator will get his in the end? Or is it that you never know whom you can trust (especially if you're, y'know, a power-hungry dictator)?

Anyway, I guess I should get you all updated as to what's been going on with me. On Tuesday afternoon, my mom and brother came over, and took bethje and me out to eat at a local diner. We'd never been to that particular one before, but it ended up being pretty good. The pizza steak was tasty, and they gave us bread before our meal, which more places should do. Beth and I went to Bennigan's the next day, and they no longer offer dinner rolls as a side. Come on, I love bread! Screw Dr. Atkins! Okay, getting back on topic, my mom also brought a bunch of stuff that I'd left at her house, most of which I'll probably end up throwing away. I mean, do I really have a need for the wings I wore when I dressed up as Pigasus for the Munchkin Convention?

Hey, tonight will be my last night of work before the weekend! (Since I start at midnight, it counts as Friday.) Too bad my weekends always go by really quickly. I could use a three-day weekend, but I don't think I get another one until...hmm, maybe Memorial Day? I'm not sure. At least we don't lose another hour this Sunday.
