When people talk about wanting victory in Iraq, what do they really even mean at this point? They used to say stuff about getting rid of Saddam Hussein and instituting elections, but they've already done both of these things. And if you want to talk about goals like ending terrorism and ushering in peace and security, well, doesn't that mean victory is impossible? I don't know. I'm not so keen on viewing warfare like a game of Chutes and Ladders, where there's a point where you can win, and then it's all over. Okay, maybe they actually see it more like Monopoly, in that they have to take out all the other players first. Even when there IS a set goal that's accomplished, there can still be unforeseen consequences down the line.
On a much lighter note, I don't like the White Cheddar Cheez-Its that much. You'd think I would, since I'm a fan of cheddar cheese. But they're just not as good as the regular kind. I do think that Skittles gum is pretty good, though. Not that those two things are related in any way, mind you. I just thought I'd express my opinions on both of them.
I keep getting that Coca-Cola "Santa packs are coming!" jingle stuck in my head. Does Coke even make the Santa packs anymore? I'm no cola drinker, so I don't pay much attention to such things.
