They're coming to get you, Barbara!

The reason I felt sick when I made my last entry was probably because, when I went to Applebee's with bethje and her Uncle John, I drank an entire glass of really sugary fruit punch before eating anything. I mean, I WAS really thirsty, and I don't usually have that problem with soda. I got over it pretty quickly, though, and I'm fine in that respect. In other physical respects, though, I'm not so lucky. My ear still feels clogged, and it might even be worse now than it has been in the past few days, since I think I got some water in it while taking a shower yesterday afternoon. I called the doctor, and she's calling in a prescription for some stronger eardrops. Hopefully these will work, but I guess if they don't, I'll go in for an appointment. It sucks that this one stupid ear is causing me so much trouble.

In other news, Beth and I watched Night of the Living Dead last night. I thought it was pretty good. Not really amazingly wonderful or anything, but it held my interest all the way through. After we'd seen the first few minutes, Beth commented that, whenever they show clips from the movie, they're almost always from really early on. That is kind of odd, but I guess they thought the earlier parts were the most memorable.
