1. Why is a same-sex relationship automatically considered more sexually explicit and controversial than a mixed-sex one, even when nothing at all explicit actually happens?
2. Why are the worst bigots (especially my-god-can-beat-up-your-god types of zealots) often the ones who claim they're being persecuted?
3. Why, after over two centuries of the First Amendment in this country, do we still have people insisting that federal laws and public school curricula should be based on the Bible (and a strict fundamentalist interpretation of the Bible, at that)?
3A. More importantly, why do so many of these people actually get their way?
4. Why do world leaders base a good deal of international politics on revenge and the "THEY started it!" philosophy, even when the "they" who supposedly "started it" are long dead?
5. Is there any real basis for the "Israel can do no wrong!" standpoint that a lot of American conservatives, especially, seem to have?
6. Do the Republicans who criticize "liberals" have any idea what that word actually means? (Hint: It doesn't mean, "Will raise your taxes.")
7. Does anyone ever actually "press one for more options" after leaving a message?
8. Does anyone ever look at the quiz results that I post to my journal all the time?

Well, just in case anyone does, here they are. )
