This is cracker soul
Feb. 16th, 2005 06:30 pmI checked two stores today for the new They Might Be Giants CD and DVD. At Borders, they only had the CD, and it cost twelve or thirteen dollars. The other store I checked seemed to only have the DVD, and it was about the same price. Since I can save a considerable amount of money by ordering them through Amazon, I think I'm just going to go ahead and do that tonight. I might not get them for a while, but oh well. I'm not in as much of a hurry to hear this as I have been with other TMBG releases, although I'm still expecting to like it.
Why does Pepperidge Farm insist on occasionally making Goldfish in non-traditional shapes? Back when the Garfield movie was in theaters, they had Garfield-shaped crackers. Now they have "splat-shaped" ones, as some kind of Nickelodeon tie-in. Not only are they merchandising the dumbest things (and pretty much all kids' stuff at that), but I just don't like them as much when they're not shaped like fish.
I should probably stop making these pointless entries, shouldn't I? I mean, I'm posting about cracker shapes, for God's sake.
