Casino Night Zone
Jan. 6th, 2005 04:44 pmYesterday afternoon, my dad took
bethje and me out to Target, where I got two new pairs of pants (because most of my old ones are too small for me now), a long-sleeved shirt, and a T-shirt showing Mario and Luigi running away from a Bob-omb. Later, after dinner, we all went with Barbara to an Indian casino, where we lost money at the slots. I generally expect to lose, but I like it when you win small amounts occasionally, so you can play for a significant amount of time. Most of the machines we tried lost on pretty much every spin. After that, we had dessert at the Falling Star, which was called Double Rainbow the last time I was out here. Today, we walked around Old Town Albuquerque, and saw the rattlesnake museum there. Tonight, we're supposed to go out to eat at a Mexican restaurant, and, some time later, get a snack at Sonic. They have commercials for Sonic back home, but the closest location is in Virginia. Beth and I have been wanting to try eating at one, and, if all goes according to plan, we'll do that tonight. Our flight back leaves tomorrow morning. It'll be good to get back home.
By the way, Dewey is feeling better now. The regular vet got the blockage out on Monday. It turned out to be gravel, rather than bone. He's back at Beth's house now, so that's good.
