Amount of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince read: 23 chapters (512 pages). I don't really want to hurry through it, but it's written so that every chapter makes me want to read the next. Then the next generally has nothing whatsoever to do with what I was curious about in the last one, so I want to keep pressing on. I'm kind of torn between whether it's better to finish quickly (so I can discuss the book and then move on to other things I want to read), or take my time (because when I finish, there most likely won't be anything new in that series to read for a few more years). Regardless, there's a good chance I'll finish it tomorrow.
I believe the new Frank Black album is supposed to come out today, but I'm not going to have a chance to buy it. Maybe tomorrow.
I played a little bit more of Paper Mario today, but I didn't really get anywhere. It's kind of annoying that it takes a long time to increase your level, and then when you do, you only get a really minor bonus. There's no way to, say, increase raw attack or defense power, which happens in most role-playing games when you raise your level.
Why is this really hot day the one day when the air conditioner ISN'T on enough to make the building incredibly cold? And, while I'm asking impossible questions, why does Hotmail make you type in "@hotmail.com" when you're logging in? I mean, I'm accessing it from Hotmail's own site!
