Just Killing Time

Today was bethje's first day of her new job, which she spent at orientation. While she was there, I found out that her free iced coffee coupon for Dunkin' Donuts doesn't work up here, then spent the rest of the morning sleeping. We're staying at a motel that's immediately after an off-ramp, making it easy to miss the entrance. We still don't know when the apartment will be ready, and the idea of having to get a new job is bringing me down. I do have an interview tomorrow, so that's something. Having had my fill of Dragon Quest IX for a while, I started on Final Fantasy III (the DS version), which I've had for a while. Has anyone else played this?

After Beth finished with her work today, we ate a place called Cheeseburger in Paradise, which was neither particularly good nor particularly bad. Oh, and I bought some shaving cream at Walmart, and I took a wrong turn getting back to the motel. That pretty much brings us up to the present.

Honestly, even though I don't have much to do this week, I'm still feeling kind of forlorn. Too much crap looming in the near future, I suppose.
