As in Heimdall the bridge keeper of Norse mythology? That's not so lame really. But, yeah, it never occurred to me either that there were different main gates. I always imagined just the one Dorothy came to. Though I suppose that throws off the Gillikin gate Tip comes from and the second Munchkin gate Ojo comes from.
